WARNING: Self-Representation

The S.C. Supreme Court recently reversed a PCR court based on the trial judge not adequately warning a defendant of the dangers of self-representation:

The Justices acknowledged that this was not an easy decision, and that the trial judge had been frustrated from this process, but ultimately a defendant has to know the dangers of proceeding pro se.
