New case on 803: excited utterance

The SC Court of Appeals released a case this week (State v. Sledge) that gave an in depth analysis of the excited utterance exception to hearsay. This is one of the most commonly used exceptions and this case does a good job of explaining the process for determining if the statement fits into this exception.
